Next step We're going to make a large size model what client ordered,with 1:1 scale, stainless steel plate to do its epidermis,the metal steel pipe is the internal support frame.(Throughout the production process, we will continue to advance and provide photos to the end)

HOW TO PAINT A SCULPTURE ?

There are several points of attention to stainless steel paint.

Surface cleaning: before spraying paint, must thoroughly clean stainless steel surface, remove grease, dirt, rust and oxidation layer, to ensure that the paint can be well attached.

Sanding: polishing the surface with the appropriate fine sand paper, increasing the roughness and improving the adhesion of the paint.

Choose suitable paint material: to choose the paint that specializes in stainless steel, make sure that it has good corrosion resistance and adhesion.

Application of primer: first coating, which can help to enhance the adhesion and anti-rust performance of the coating.

Construction environment: keep the construction environment clean, dry, temperature and humidity is appropriate, avoid dust and water vapor affect the effect of spraying.

Spray paint technique: spray paint in a uniform, thin coating, avoid a thick spray and cause the flow to hang or bubble.

Multi-layer spraying: usually requires a multi-layer spray, and there is enough drying time between each layer.

Drying time: strictly control the drying time according to the instructions of the paint, and ensure that the coating is completely dry and solidified.

Protective measures: the operation personnel should wear protective mask, gloves and other, avoid paint contact skin and suction paint fog.

Quality inspection: when the spray is finished, check for the coating, whether there is leakage, bubble, peeling and so on.

When painting, to avoid sagging or bubbling, the following points can be noted:

Control the viscosity and dilution ratio of the paint: Mix the paint correctly according to the instructions to avoid it being too thin.

Adjust the pressure of the spray gun and the spraying distance: Maintain an appropriate spray gun pressure and distance from the workpiece, generally around 15 to 25 centimeters.

Thin spray in multiple layers: Do not attempt to spray too thickly at once. Instead, use multiple thin sprays, leaving sufficient drying time between each layer.

Control the speed of painting: Move the spray gun at a constant speed and avoid staying at one place for too long.

Maintain a suitable construction environment: The temperature should not be too high or too low, and the humidity should not be too high. Good ventilation helps the paint dry.

Do a good job in surface pretreatment: Ensure that the surface of the workpiece is clean, flat, dry, free of oil stains, moisture or impurities.

Stir the paint: Thoroughly stir the paint before spraying to ensure its components are evenly distributed.

Avoid spraying paint in damp or high-temperature environments: Dampness can cause water to mix into the paint layer, leading to blisters, and high temperatures may cause the paint to dry too quickly, resulting in defects.

Check the spray gun: Ensure that the atomization effect of the spray gun is good and there are no clogged or damaged parts.
